Won't You Come In :o)

Since this is a stitching Blog and since I don't have any stitching to show, I thought I would take you for a tour around my Stitching Room! I remember last year when I took you for the tour of the new house, I left it out because I was hoping to have it a bit more finished before revealing it. Well...that never happened. It's still a WIP and will be for awhile ;o) At least you'll get an idea where I cram all my stash. LOL!

When you walk into the room, the first thing you see is my computer desk -

There is a window on either side of it so there is plenty of light that comes into the room during the day.

If you move around to the left, you'll see my wall full of storage bins with Popcorn squashed in there somewhere -

Photobucket

She was living in the TV Room but we've decided that for DH's mental health she was better off downstairs ;o) I think she enjoys this location much better and she's proving to be a great companion.

Here's a close up of my stitching bins -

Photobucket

Just a note...you don't want to know how much is in there ;o)

Move a little more to the left and you get the back of the door that leads into the room -

Photobucket

There you'll see even more bins.

To the left of the door is one of my favourite spots :o) This is one of my stitching areas with my very own Ott-Lite and...recliner -

Photobucket

That's my Angel of Hope by L&L on the wall :o) What you don't see is that there are even MORE bins behind the chair...

I hope you have enjoyed the tour. Please exit through the door on your right ;o)

Well I see no Pumpkins, and I see no piles of stitching or a camera or two, but what a wonderful insight to your world. I would have thought there might have been a bin for all of your Finishes for the year so far but I guess you would need a larger room. Thanks for sharing.
Be always in stitches.

VERY nice setup, Pumpkin? And DH does not get along with Popcorn?

But I don't want to leave yet!;0) Can you show me all the beads, baubles, accessories, fabric and floss? I promise to not take anything.

Love your room! Oh, and your chair - looks comfy!

What a luxury.. a whole room dedicated to stitching! So much great storage space (and stash too!). I'm jealous (as I sit at my all-in-one dining room/office/craft table)!

What a great room and so organized. Since you say we don't want to know how much is there, I imagine them to be full of great stitching stuff :)

Wish I had a little space like this. It's just perfect. And might I add, very neat.

That Chair looks pretty comfy - I don't have a stitching room - Maybe I can put my husband in the garage -lol - just kidding -

I have started to paint my entire house hunter green - it's beautiful - makes the linen pop on my stitched pieces.

I'm glad you have a lovely space

That's one nice stitching room. It's very neat. LOL Where is the fabric kept? Is it folded or rolled?

Nice!
But I'm suspicious. There are no baskets of WIPs, no patterns lying all round. In short it looks too neat. Like you cleaned up for a photo shoot...
PS. Angel of Hope is gorgeous!

I think your room looks great! I have a stitching/craft room but I'm not about to take pictures of it at this time, to scary LOL. It's still very much a work in progress. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope to finish In the Arms of an Angel soon, all thats left is the beading and I'm scared to do it LOL.
p.s. I love that your taught yourself photography, perhaps there is hope for me yet ;)

You've got a GREAT space, Cathy! I love your chair - I wish my room could accomodate something like that! So neat and tidy! The only time mine looks like that is when I'm taking pictures!

You're so lucky to have your very own stitching/bunny room, Cathey! I love the color on your walls and all of the white trim--looks so crisp and clean.

What a great ott light, too. Mine is that ugly industrial looking one--does the job, but isn't the most attractive. I can just picture you in your stitching chair all settled in for a few hours of relaxation :)

Thanks for the tour!

The chair and the whole room are absolutely perfect for stitching. Everything looks so comfy that you'd like to sit down immediately and start stitching. But what makes me a bit envious is how organized everything is. I wish I could be a bit the same.

Nice room and you have Popcorn to keep you company :)
I really like those high storage bins next to Popcorn home! Good storage space :)
My craft room is also a work in progress but, right now, it's all.. on the floor! Guess where I'm going to buy my shelfs and table? Ikea!!! LOL :D

What a lovely space to get creative!! I just have little corners around the house, one in the living room, one in the front porch, one in the back porch, etc. One day... Thanks for sharing :)
