Ringing In The New Year

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful (and safe) evening :o)

With a new year come new stitching goals. I've been thinking about these for about the past month now. It really is serious business you know! LOL! Since I'm not going to add to my neurotic behaviour and join the Crazy January Challenge and since my past method has proven to work very well, I've gone back to where I feel comfortable :o)

I'm going to tweak things a little bit this time around since I did not meet my 2010 goals :o( So here is my final list -
  • two WIP/UFOs (one will definitely be Sabrina) ~ 0/2
  • one monthly project (Christmas Rules by Lizzie Kate) ~ 0/1
  • one medium project (hopefully Gentleman Quaker or Pumpkin Cottage) ~ 0/1
  • one small project (this would include designs by Bent Creek, HIH, LK, etc.) ~ 0/1
  • one small SAL project (Chilly from Snowman Trio by Stitchy Kitty with Jenn) ~ 0/1
  • twelve ornament sized projects (one for each month of the year and hopefully they will not only be completed but finished as well) ~ 0/12
I think I'm comfortable with this. We'll see how it goes...

My list of 2010 finishes has been moved over to the Pumpkin Patch & Co. Graveyard to make way for my 2011 list. If you wish to see the list, just head on over there :o)

Ready? Set? GO!

Sounds like you've come up with a great plan of attack for 2011. Best of luck in achieving your stitching goals.

Happy New Year!

I like how you declare your intentions right off the bat...I'm thinking about doing one myself to make me more accountable to me! But right now...it's just a thought! lol

I'm not crazy enough to join that challenge either...I already overfill my plate on my own! Your list sounds perfectly doable.

Happy New Year, Cathey!

I was just thinking about Miss Sabrina and wondering if she would be making an appearance soon!

I'm so happy you'll be stitching an ornament a month, too, Cathey :) You'll be so happy and proud in December when you see them all brightening your tree!

Hope your new year is off to a wonderful start :)

Wonderful stitching goals for 2011! I'm not crazy enough either for the January challenge although I am crazy enough to watch everyone else do it, LOL. I haven't even thought about stitching.....but I plan to fix that tonight!

Your list sounds very good and really doable. Whereas I don't know if my crazy 15-projects list will be doable in one year, lol. But I don't mind at all. Having fun while stitching is the goal.
Happy New Stitching Year to you, too!
