What Are My Goals For 2009?

I'm a little behind with this as well although I did post them in the Graveyard back on January 12 :o)

I can't tell you how pleased I am with the system that I used last year. It was structured but it did allow a lot of room to choose what I wanted to stitch. Out of 13 projects, I managed to stitch 12! That is a 92% success rate :o) Woohoo! Because I found it so successful, I've decided to use the same method again this year. The only thing I'm going to change will be the number of projects because I know that this will be a busy year for us and my stitching time will be cut short.

This is what I would like to accomplish in 2009 -
  • one large project (I have this narrowed down to a Lanarte or a L&L design) ~ 0/1 done
  • one medium project (I've already started on one so hopefully I'll finish it) ~ 0/1 done
  • two small projects (this would include patterns by Bent Creek, HIH, LK, etc.) ~ 0/2 done
  • five ornament size projects (this would include anything in the JCS ornament issues and patterns of similar size) ~ 1/5 done!
As you can see, I've narrowed it down to nine projects so we'll see how well I do. Maybe I can reach a 100% success rate this year :o)

Congratulations on doing so well last year!
Can't wait to see what you choose to stitch this year - you stitched such beautiful pieces last year (ok, every year!).

Sounds like a pretty realistic goal..

Which L&L or Lanarte are you trying to decide on??

That seems very manageable... good luck!!

My goals are easy but still don`t know if I will meet them. I would like to finish 2 things this year... any two current WIPs.

Good luck with your goals! I think you did outstanding last year! Stargazer and your Trick or Treat Fairy were both gorgeous finishes, and huge accomplishments in my book, especially with everything else you had going on.
