Eighth Finish For 2011

I've had this one done for awhile now. See, I told you I have a lot of things to share with you! There's just not enough hours in my day ;o)

This is Spring Is In The Air by Val's Stuff -

Photobucket

It's another freebie and this one IS on the internet! LOL! You can find it here.

I didn't like the colours that this design was charted for so I changed them all and used Crescent Colours :o) I'm really pleased the results. Pleased enough that I will stitch this one again! The fabric is just 28 count Ivory Jobelan.

I finally got my Springtime pillow in the mail today so you'll have to wait a little longer to see who the recipient is. I'm going to tease you even more though because I also sent out another little something to someone else :o) I found this rabbit template on the internet and put this cutie together the other day -

Photobucket

Sorry for the boring photo but it was the only one that showed just how purple the fabric is. All the other pictures came out with a blue hue :oS So who will get him/her? You'll have to just wait and see!

Both bunnies are adorable. I haven't stitched any bunnies for Easter yet--I think I'm running out of time! Love the fabric too.

OMG, that purple fabric bunny is so cute! Do you happen to have a link for it? Love it!

I like the bunny freebie too and just printed it off. I wonder why I always feel like seasonal stitching when the season is almost done and over. I'm in a big bunny mood! lol

Love that little bunny with the button flower. You made some good color choices on that one.

And you sure did a great job on all the intricate curves on the blue (sorry, he still looks blue on my monitor, but I like blue so now worries) bunny.

OMG, Cathey I totally love that purple rabbit! Can you send me the link to the pattern? Someone is going to adore that!

I also love your Val's Stuff rabbit finish too and went straight over to print out the chart.

I look forward to seeing more of what you are hiding, LOL!

Hi Cathey,

Oh sweet!! Sometimes the
simplest of designs can
really tug at your heart
strings more then something
complicated and time
consuming. Spring Is In
The Air (Really? Where?) is
adorable!! That flower
button is perfect for this
piece and your choices of
thread colors are spot on!

And I love that fabric bunny
pillow that you made!! The
fabric is gorgeous and so
perfect for this project.
Did you use a sewing machine
to put it together or stitch
it by hand???

What a generous RAK you
received from Terri!! So
many wonderful goodies of
all kinds to enjoy. I'll
bet she had fun putting it
together just for you! The
little bird ornament is cute
as a button and so perfectly
stitched and sewn together.

And that magnetic needle
minder that Myra made for
you (did she make the little
pouch as well?) is amazing.
It's so very you indeed!

Happy Easter Cathey!!

Very sweet and pretty bunnies, Cathey! The purple fabric looks purple to me and the color is perfect for spring (which will never arrive, I fear) and reminds me of hyacinths.
