Sabrina Has Graduated!

Graduated Q-Snaps that is ;o) LOL! My girl is now framed in 11 x 17 inch Q-Snaps. She's heavy but it beats crushing any stitches or beads.

I'm SO excited because I 'finally' finished all the white in the section I've been working on! I even got to stitch part of the hem of her skirt so now she is being shown in full length -

Photobucket

What do you think? I'm still completely in love with her :o)

Once this middle section is done, there won't be much left but the last two small folds of the back of her dress. I can see the ending in sight and I couldn't be happier. Just knowing that there is a great possibility that she will be done this year is such a relief. I think this is the longest time I've ever spent on a project before.

I've started something new but I'm waiting until I get a little more done before I show you anything ;o) It's been a rough week health wise. With the sudden changes in temperature and weather, my body has taken an awful beating :o( I haven't had much sleep because of the pain and being on so many pain medications has screwed up my appetite. A vicious circle; one that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy let me tell you.

Tonight we 'spring' our clocks one hour ahead and therefore lose one hour of sleep but hey, we gain more daylight and that's good enough for me :o) Spring IS right around the corner and I can't wait to dust off the old camera and get back out there!

Have a great weekend everyone and thank you so much for all the wonderful comments on Chilly :o)

I just love the colours in Sabrina.
We have to wait until the 27th for our extra hour of daylight - it can't come quick enough for my liking!

So tell me -- what kind of a happy dance will you be doing when she's complete?

She's gorgeous! Way to go!

Stay warm and drink lots - don't get any worse - ok?

Sabrina is just gorgeous. Hope you can stitch with the big Q-snaps. Do you have it mounted on a frame or propped up against something? I can barely deal with 8" q-snaps! ;-)

Sorry about all the health issues. Hope spring settles in and makes you feel better.

It's a lot of work but you end up with something beautiful that you did yourself...bonus:)

Oh my goodness it is something I would never stitch but I just adore the colours, she is beautiful and I cannot wait to see the finish. Congrats on your progress so far.

I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well, getting no sleep and having lots of pain - that is the pits.

Your Sabrina is gorgeous!

Isn't it nice to see the end of a project, makes you just want to keep going. Well, maybe not me. I have so many UFO's that are 75% or more done. What is my problem!!!! Finish up already, Hillery!!! Just Do It!!! How is it that I just made this comment all about myself. Anyhoo, Sabrina is looking lovely. Great job.

Each time you show Sabrina I'm amazed at just how beautiful she is.

She's coming along quite nicely! The white on April's dress just about bored me to tears, and I was so happy to be finished with it. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Get some extra rest, and hopefully you'll bounce back soon. : )

Sabrina is a lovely lady indeed! You're almost there!! :^)
I have only stitched 3 Mirabilia patterns: Mother's Bliss, Midsummer Night's Fairy and Summer in the Garden. I have yet to finish Middy... I'm not even going to tell you how many years ago I started her! (I hate to admit that SITG is also in the WIP pile. Started her about this time last year.)

Sabrina! Such a pretty name and such a pretty job you are doing.

We spring the clocks ahead too tonight and my husband has grumbled all day about loosing sleep tonight!

So pretty Cathey! Hope you feel better this week....there is just too much stitching to be done.

Not too happy about losing an hour! ugh....

So sorry to hear that your health has suffered this week, Cathey. Will things even out once the temperatures go up and stay up? And will the time change affect you? Sending some big hugs up your way...

The "older" Sabrina gets, the more beautiful she is (don't you wish real life was like that!!)... Your stitching is so lovely.

I think she's gorgeous but she needs to eat a sandwich or two. Send her down here and I'll feed her some banana pudding or something. :o) Seriously, she is a masterpiece.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling 100%. With the promise of spring just around the corner, I hope the warmer temps and stable weather will help.

Sabrina is beyond beautiful :) I love her dress but don't know if i'd ever have the patience to tackle it!

I completely understand the pain/painkiller/nausea cycle, I don't have it as bad now but it was how I lost almost 80 pounds when I was really sick. I hope you feel better soon and get at least some relief :)

I hate the Spring ahead change but it is nice to see more daylight in the evening, now all we need is Spring! It's still Winter here :)

Sabrina is just so beautiful. You should be very proud of that project. Can't wait to see her all framed up.

I feel bad for you on your health issues. The kind of weather we are having is not good for anyone with fibro or arthritis.
