Welcome Back

Sabrina!

Photobucket

I'm sorry it took me this long to get a progress picture up but I wanted to make sure it looked like I did something ;o) LOL! As you can see, I've been working with white. White, white, white! Ugh! Might as well get it over and done with. Maybe I'm just feeling sorry for all of you with lots of snow and so I figure I'll surround myself in the white stuff too!

I haven't gotten to a point where I can bead yet but here's a close up picture of what has already been done -

Photobucket

I took the pictures too late in the day so they are a bit drab :o(

I was hoping I would have some stash to share with you but there was nothing in the mailbox today. Drat! Maybe tomorrow...

Ooh, she looks fab!!! Love the roses and the beading on her hair. All that white! Ugh. Reminds me of when I did Fairy Moon.

She is looking spectacular, Cathey! I can imagine how blah all that white stitching would be but it looks grand!

The beading is well worth it.
I hope you get that stash soon, we want to see it.

Absolutely awesome. One day I may attempt a Mirabilia or Lavendar and Lace. Great stitching.

You have done a beautiful job, Cathey. I love beading and yours looks gorgeous.
White is the popular color here too with all of our snow.
I bet you're glad that's all finished! Looks as if you are in the home stretch.

Enjoy your incoming stash :)

Hi Cathey,

Sabrina is looking fabulous!!!
All that white might be a PITA
to stitch but the results are
breathtaking. Especially when
paired with the black beads that
trim and decorate her gown.

I love your new SAL project -
Chilly. I have this pattern in
my stash as well and have often
considered starting it. I love
how colorful the snow guys are
with their loooong hats and
scarves. Do you really think
the design is bland?? I suspect
that you're just fed up with all
the stitching in white you've
been doing. Hang in there!

I love your February is Sweet
finish as well. Probably because
of all the wonderful pinks and
reds in it. It's brilliant!
A simple design made magical
because of the colors in it.
I don't know that I could ever
stitch in hand myself. I like
my Q-Snaps and the even tension
that it gives my stitching.

Gosh I'm sorry to hear that you
and your DH had another funeral
to attend this month. These
things really do seem to happen
in bunches though, don't they?
Hope that's your quota for this
year.

I don't know if I've told you
how much I love your Christmas
Rules project Cathey, and every
time I see it I want to get
those charts and stitch it too.
Oh dear!! It's gorgeous!!
Well, might as well add it to
the wish list.

I can't believe that Heart is/
are still together and touring.
I wouldn't mind seeing them in
concert myself sometime. Lots
of great music in their tune
catalog. The other day, for
some reason, I couldn't stop
humming "Alone" while waiting
to meet some friends in Toronto.
It sounds like a great night
out for you.

Any signs of Spring in your
area yet??? We've been freezing
our collective you-know-what off
here but I believe that it's
going to start warming up a bit
in the next few days. I'm so
done with Winter.

Cheers!

Sabrina is beautiful! I also don't like stitching with too much white, although I do like stitching snowmen.

Good Morning - Sabrina is breathe taking! I hope you are saving money for her framing because you'll need a special frame for her.

The stitches look fabulous! Perfect - wish mine looked half as good!

She looks so gorgeous. I hope she hasn't been pouting while you neglected her for so long!

I don't know what the deal is. But it's not only snowmen that look so appealing to stitch with all that white... white dresses and houses can have that same effect on a stitcher. Fun to start... no much for slogging through to the finish.

*faints* Sabrina is more beautiful every time you post about her!

I know your pain with all that white stitching! It can get a bit monotonous. Actually, maybe I DON'T know your pain...I've never stitched THAT much of one color before ROFLMAO
