Back From The Brink

Sabrina is still here :o) I've been in a bit of a stitching slump lately but I have made a bit of progress on her -

Photobucket

Thankfully, her dress DID cover that spot on the fabric. Whew!

I just have a small portion of her dress and the roses on her bum left to go and them I'm done side one of the pattern. I've been seriously thinking about taking a break from Sabrina for awhile and stitching something else. What? I'm not sure. I would like to get Gentleman Quaker by Jardin Prive done and then that way, I can have both framed at the same time (when I get some extra money that is).

Then there's Dog Lessons For People by Lizzie Kate. I think I have everything I need to stitch this one too. Or do I just dig out an ornament sized project just to give me a quick change of scenery? Argh! My mind just won't settle! What to do...what to do...

I want to thank everyone for their wonderful comments lately! I see that my Stalker list has increased so I want to welcome all my new readers and hope that you'll stitch around :o) I hope all the moms out there have a very Happy Mother's Day weekend.

Sabrina looks gorgeous. But your possibilities for some different charts all look like good choices if you want a break.

I don't think I'd ever seen the Jardin Prive web site. Lovely designs there.

What a beauty she is Cathey! I know that if I were stitching as large a piece as Sabrina I would have to take a break and have some small finishes. I really need that "thrill" that comes with a finish. I think that's why I'm so happy stitching ornaments.

Sabrina is coming along nicely. Your other choices are good ones. I find there are so many out there that I want to stitch it drives me crazy, or is it crazier ! *LOL*

Very beautiful! And, I'm glad that the stitching covered the spot. It's always good to take a break from a piece now and then. Probably not so good to take the long breaks that I do (LOL) but it surely does help to take that break :)

Gorgeous stitching and great progress on Sabrina.
I still remember you stitching teh Quaker Lady, so the companion piece would be a great idea.

That's great news that the stitching has covered up the dreaded spot! Whew. Sabrina looks so lovely are you sure you want to put her away??? I agree though a small might be just the thing you need right now :) Just don't start too many projects like I did then you end up feeling bad! LOL. Happy Mother's Day to you.

Sabrina is looking wonderful, as for wanting a break from her I think that you should stitch on whatever you feel like.

You should really make a break if you feel the need, then you'll continue with the same pleasure as always ;)
