D'oh!

The right way...dial the drug store and then punch in the RX number of your prescription.

The wrong way...dial the RX number of your prescription and end up calling 911 because your RX number begins with 911 :oS

Yup, true story because I just did it. What's even worse is that the RCMP still had to come here to check on me! Talk about an embarrassment when I had to tell him what I actually did. At least the boys will have something to laugh at back at the precinct ;o)

One word - ONLINE! ;)

Couldn't you have at least convinced them to take your houseguest with them?

Oh, well, at least it was 911 and not a call to a random foreign country.

Hi Cathey,

Never a dull moment around your place, is there?? Of course the important question is....were they hunky RCMP officers??? Or would that have made it worse???

I had a hard time reading through your previous post about Maple Syrup. I was drooling all over my keyboard. We've bought some of this wonderful liquid over the years and it is liquid joy on your tongue. Expensive, but worth every penny.
It was fun reading the info in this post.

I guess it's that time of year when the weather is changing (hopefully for the better) and the wildlife begin to emerge from hibernation. Every morning on our way into work we see the unfortunate critters who didn't make it, laying on the side of the road. I remember seeing a squirrel hit one day when DH and I were out and I was in tears for quite a while afterwards. It would be awful to see a deer the way you did.

The black and white framed photo's that you donated to the auction are lovely and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they did quite well in the bidding. I love black and white photography.

And of course Stargazer is looking amazing, and she shows up beautifully on the material that you're stitching her on.

Hope you're enjoying some of the same nice, warm weather that we're getting here right now. It got up to 25 celsius here today. Gorgeous!!!

Cheers

That stinks. Don't worry though people do it ALL THE TIME.

Don't feel too bad; our neighbor did exactly the same thing last year! Only thing was, she didn't stick around afterwards because she was late for work, so the police had to go from door to door asking if we had heard anything suspicous, etc. Luckily they were able to contact her before breaking down her door...

Ah, the things we do so others can laugh at the story!!!

:: giggle ::

The funny things we do some days. I'm continually giving people my sister in laws phone number because I dial it more often than my own so it springs to mind more easily.
