Yes, you read that right... I'm so behind with my Blog that I still have a handful of finishes to share with you! LOL!
I was SO happy to finish this project because all I saw was white, white, white. I love this pattern though so I plugged away :o) This is Winter Silhouette by Imaginating -
This is not a great picture because it doesn't represent the color of the fabric really well. I used DMC 3865 on 28 count Colonial or Denim Blue (I can't remember!). I used two strands of floss for the cross stitch and one strand for the backstitching. The pattern called for two but that looked too heavy for my liking.
If you haven't checked out the Pumpkin Patch & Co. Graveyard, head on over and take a look at my list of 2011 finishes as well as my 2012 goals :o)

That is really gorgeous! I don't think I could bear doing that much white with nothing to break it up. But it really was worth it to end up with that!
Outstanding finish!!!!
Beautiful finish. I checked out your finishes and your goals. Both are such great lists.
Happy New Year!
What a pretty piece. I can't decide whether it would be a fun stitch, or boring. Nice work!

Oh wow, this is really lovely. I see what you mean about all the white...ugh...that would get old! BUT the effect is really stunning. Congratulations on such a beautiful finish.
I love your finish, congrats! I hate stitching white myself, but this looks so effective I could be tempted lol.
What a gorgeous finish!! I love the blue linen and the white! So beautiful!!
Very nice!! It reminds me of wedgewood too.
That is very beautiful! I can appreciate how hard it is to maintain the old attention span when stitching in all one color...so kudos to you :)
Gorgeous job. Diane Arthurs in my favorite designer.

Oh, it's so pretty and tranquil looking, Cathey!! Can't imagine stitching all that white, but in a way, it must have been quite soothing :)
