Fourth Finish For 2012

"Well it's about time!" you're saying ;o) LOL! I'm 'way' behind in showing you what I've got stitched up so there's going to be a lot of catching up to do.

I had this done back in February or March, I can't remember. This is Happy Valentine's Day by Passione Ricamo -

Photobucket

It was stitched using Waterlilies Cardinal on 36 count Antique White linen.

My 'initial' idea was to have this finished into a pillow before I posted it to my Blog and my intentions were good! I had the pillow all sewn up and when I went to turn it right side out, I was crushed to find out that I had the fabric reversed >:o( Needless to say, I was mad and it was put aside. I will get back to it though, I promise ;o)

Stay tuned for more!

Lovely finish. I hate when I do things like that when I sew.

Congrats on your finish! It is beautiful. And you are not the only one to have issues with sewing. I have done the same thing more then once. Eventually you will work on it again and it will finish the proper way. Enjoy!!

I know that mistake!! I was sewing fabric burp clothes and I sewed about 8. Had 2 more to sew and sewed the 9th with the backside showing. Had to take apart and redo. Just wait.. Time to do the 10th. I did the some thing! LOL

That mistake is very common, happened here way too many times! Nice stitching.

I feel your pain! When I 'mess up' I take it to my mum to fix! On my latest BAP I stitched about a million berries in the wrong colour so my mum unpicked them all for me! Isn't that what mums are for?!

What a beautifull piece.
To bad of your pillow.
How great you find the mood to stitch..
Wish you all the best!!

Hi Cathey,

Your Valentine's Day finish is lovely and I'm
giddy over that red!! So lush and rich!
I'm sorry to hear about the finishing troubles
(not frogs but something else pesky) and
hope you'll be able to pick up the pillow and
fix the mistake without too many colourful
comments. Don't want Junior to hear such
things at his tender age.

How are you feeling now?? Each day a bit
better I hope. Pamper yourself ... and
enjoy your beautiful boy.

Hugs!
