My beautiful girl now has some bling on her and she's looking fantastic! So far I have completed the beading on her top coat (the dark grey area) and this is the result -
This area took a total of ten days. I'm not talking about 24 hours a day for ten days! On average, I've probably been spending about two to three hours a day working on her. It all depends on how fast my eyes tire out from looking at, or rather trying to 'find', that darn invisible thread ;o) Here's a up close picture of my work -
I've debated which beading to tackle next but I think I'm going to try the Petite ones. These mainly go in the swags of her dress. Hopefully I'll still have my 20/20 vision after they are done. LOL!
The girls and I have been throwing around ideas regarding how she will be framed in the end. In my mind, I picture a wide silver ornate moulding. I think the frame has to be just as flashy as she is :o) DH has suggested a mat but I'm not 100% convinced I will be happy with that look. I've seen different pictures of Stargazer with a rectangular mat and it really doesn't capture my eye (this is just 'my' opinion!). He would like a suede mat like my two L&L pieces but it would have to be a custom cut and after studying her, I can't seem to come up with something that I think will work.
If anyone has seen her framed in a unique manner, would you please leave the link in the comments section or email it to me? I'd really love to see other ideas before I make my final decision. Thanks a lot and thank you for all your wonderful, and amusing, comments :o)

She is stunning. Your bead work is incredible.
Sorry, no ideas on framing. I look forward to seeing what you decide to do with her.
Oh Wow,she looks fabulous!!!
and up close your stitching is so neat,I won't offer my opinion as I know I will be indecisive about my L&L Celtic,But will sit and eagerly await to see what you come up with!! ;0)
You asked for an oppinion, and I just need to shar how I see her framed.
I like the silver ornate frome, but for fancy ladies I really like seeing a mat. In this case, I would match the mat color to the color of your back ground fabric... that way it doesn't compete in any way, however it gives it the "finished look".
Again just how I see it in my head.
You have and are doing a great job!
Makes me want to dig out Angel. I think she will be my summer project, besides designing on the computer.
wow she looks great
beautiful! I tend to frame ornate pieces with a gorgeous frame and no mat.....I love your idea!
Great close-up!!
I don't have any truly original ideas for framing, but what about star cut-outs in the top mat in the top right where she's looking? Or stars painted there, a la Jill Rensel.
Your beading is as beautiful as your stitching!
You have a great eye, whatever you select for framing will be just right!
Wowza! She is a beauty!
She is stunning! and that beading work is exquisite. Well done.
She's looking so beautiful!
Your beadwork is gorgeous !!!!
It's so beautiful !!! great job ;)
She looks great !
All of that beading is looking awesome! I know what you mean about that invisible thread...it is a bit tricky to work with.
I think that a custom-cut mat would look great.
That is just such a stunning piece - she's going to be gorgeous hanging on your wall! I agree with the ornate silver frame - I think that would really set her off, but I think your DH might be right about the mat. Try a dark blue or a dark green suede mat as I think it would add just the right bit of richness and balance to the beading.
Stargazer looks just grand. I don't know how you use that invisible thread, I hate it. You may not be able to see it when you're done but you can't see it while you're beading either!! I've gone back to using thread that matches the fabric ;)
Wow, she's looking gorgeous, the beading certainly is giving her that extra bit of flash. Sorry I don't have any suggestions on the framing, but I'll be looking forward to seeing what you decide to do.
Sue
