Eighteenth Finish For 2011

Still another 2011 finish to show you :o) This one was on my ornament tree for most of the holidays. Not your typical festive colours but I still like him. This is Snow Swirls by San Man Originals -

Photobucket

Yes, I did say he was on my ornament tree so that means he was actually finished-finished! Sandy supplied the tuck with the pattern. It was cheating again but hey, he's done ;o)

Photobucket

There were snowflakes and a white ribbon to attach but I decided not to add them. It just made the pattern heavy looking. I'm pleased with the results as they are :o)

Thank you for all your kind and wonderful comments on my last finish. Stay tuned for some overdue Thank Yous and what I got!

Not bad, really, not bad, your last two finishes of 2011. It seems to have been a good stitching year.
Your goals sound doable and I'm looking forward to seeing your first projects for this year.

He is cute. I would love to know how those tuck pillows are made. I need to get some of them for quick and easy finishing.

What a cute snowman. Love the finish. Anything with a heart in it catches my eye and being pink is a bonus.

Aww--he reminds me of a baby snowman. Perhaps you'll have to do one in blue for your new little addition?

Your snowman finish is so DARN CUTE! I like Carol's idea of stithing another one in blue for the baby-to-be. Happy Stitching!

really cute! I like the finishing.

He is darling! I like the occasional odd-color ornament on the tree. Having everything matchy-matchy is way too fussy for my personality!

Sandy's tuck is cute (I love plaid) but I disagree ~ not cheating at all...

Your snowman looks so adorable =)))
How is that finish.. is it like a pillow but without the fabric? I mean, is it only fabric? I've never seen something like that and it looks lovely! I'm curious :)

I have tonnes of collected Sandy patterns. I love her designs and your ornie looks great. No shame in a ready-made tuck... whatever makes life easier is a good thing I say :)
Take care
