The Case Of The Missing Blogger

Yes, that's me. Where have I been? More importantly where has the time gone???? The last thing I remember was finishing Sabrina and beaming like a proud mother but then the next thing I knew, I felt like I was curled up in a corner feeling completely lost :o( I know I've had these feelings before after finishing a big project but not to this extent!

Would you believe that Tuesday night was the first time I picked up a needle since Sabrina was done? It's a pitiful start but I'm trying to get back in the game. I'm quite disappointed in myself because I didn't meet my goal last month and now I'm one block behind on my Christmas Rules SAL :o( Geesh! I've got to get it together!

I was so proud of myself too because I not only finished Sabrina but I was up to date on my Blog reading too ;o) Now I'm W-A-Y behind again...

Did I mention we went about three weeks without mail? Argh! That definitely didn't help my mood any >:o( Things are starting to trickle in but I'll wait a bit before I post some pictures.

This past weekend, DH and I went on our first vacation of the year! We went with our friends T and K (along with their DS) and went camping at Kejimkujik National Park :o) Here's our site -

Photobucket

I didn't even take any pictures, that's how pathetic I am. Ugh! We had an awesome time though. I learned that it isn't fun getting up in the middle of the night to pee, S'mores just aren't the same as when we made them as kids and I can annoy a five-year-old ;o) LOL!

Keji is a beautiful park and there was plenty of wildlife to see. There was more than enough deer, a pesky raccoon that figured out how to open our small cooler, robins, bald eagles, osprey, black bear and mosquitoes, of course ;o) They really weren't that bad around the campsite but on our hike I thought they were going to carry us away. All in all, I'm anxious for our next trip!

I want to thank everyone for their wonderful comments on Sabrina! I was blown away at the number of people and I've tried to respond to everyone that I could. I truly appreciate you all. I thought for sure I'd lose some Stalkers because of my absence but it seems there might be a giveaway in the near future ;o)

Good to see a post from you! I agree, sometimes it is hard to start something after finishing an involved piece.

Your camping trip sounds like fun!

Welcome back. I would need a break after that beautiful job on Sabrina. Not sure camping in a tent would be my choice (I do a trailer with inside bathroom).

Hey - we're here because we like you not because you post every day!

Time to pick up the needle and get busy! Then we can watch a new project blossom before our eyes!

I was starting to worry about you, Cathey! Now, I always go that long between posts, but that's rare for you :)

Looks like you had a good camping trip and I'm happy to hear that your needle met the fabric again this week... Can't wait to see what you've been working on!

Glad you had a nice trip. We can all get in a funk once in a while, no need to explain. Life just gets in the way of Blogging, doesn't it?

I thought I was the only one who did that after finishing a project. I tend to feel a little lost. The camping looks fun, though I am a wuss and if there is no ac, tv, or running water then I can't hang! LOL

Sometimes it's good to take a break and re-charge your stitching batteries. Looks like a fun camping trip and sounds like the stitching mojo is returning. Welcome back to Blogger-ville.

Glad to see you back! Now stay!!! LOL :D
Sometimes we just need a break, don't ask to much of yourself. Just relax and soon you'll be back to your normal rhythm ;)

I'm not a big fan of camping.. well, I like camping, I just don't like bugs!! :p heheheh Any kind of tiny bug, whether it flies or crawls.. I don't like! So that's complicated when it comes to camping :p

I'm stitching Crules but if you want I'll stop and wait for you! :D

Enjoy your weekend!! :D
Hugs&smiles to you

Good to see you post...missed you while you were gone! Glad you are back to stitching! Must have been nice to get away camping for a few days! I won't go camping unless a bathroom comes in the camper, so no tent camping for me!

So glad you had a wonderful camping trip. I know how you feel lost after Sabrina because I feel somewhat the same after finishing my quilt top.

Sounds like you had a great camping trip! My biggest complaint about our pop up was having to walk about a block to the bathroom at 3 am...never could fall back asleep after that. I'm spoiled now but we are going to try tent camping soon.

I've been so missing the last couple weeks I didn't even notice that YOU were missing. We are bad bad bloggers. Heh. :)

I'm way behind on blog reading and not getting much craft time in either, seems to be the case with many bloggers/stitchers recently

Nice place to camp out and recharge the batteries, sounds like a fun time had by all

I get behind in webspace too. I stopped feeling bad about it though. There's not enough time in a day for everything, right? Besides, hetting out is important.
Glad you all had fun. YOU... annoying?? Lol, what's your secret?
I camped last summer (was my housing for 2 weeks, until we found an apartment). Life on the edge was kinda exciting... until we got over run by EARWIGS!! augh!! <:o0
