A Stitcher's Dream

We had another shop close down :o( This one carried a few cross stitch supplies but not enough to consider it a LNS. During the last week it was open; I went in and inquired about a few things. One thing was the Mill Hill bead racks :o) You guessed it, I came home with two! I was so excited and just look at these pretties -

Yes, those are all my Mill Hill beads and treasures. LOL!

So far I only have one rack in use. I'm not sure if I'll use the other one or not. I just wish we had the money to fix up my craft room with all the cabinets that I've been dreaming of ;o)

Spring is finally popping up -

It's still quite cool though and now we're having a week of rain :o( Come on warmer weather!

  8. Hi Cathey,

    Aren't snowdrops the prettiest
    little flower ever??? It amazes
    me that these delicate looking
wee flowers will pop up even
when there's still snow on the
    ground and winter winds wailing!

    Crocuses are lovely too, and
they come up pretty early as
    well, but they usually travel
in herds so provide each other
    with moral support and shelter.
    The tiny little snowdrop tends
    to go it alone.

Love your post on the alternative
    bunny related items out there
    to supplement the usual chocolate
    treats that characterize Easter.
The bunny ear Salad Servers and
the salt and pepper shakers (!!)
    are my own favourites.

But I am a confirmed and loyal
    chocoholic who doesn't give
    most other sweet treats a
    second glance. So keep the
    chocolate treats a-comin' for
    me please.

And am I the only one who thinks
    that those Giant Gummy Bunnies
    are a tad ... um ... creepy??

    Well, aren't you an enterprising
    stitcher!! Asking about those
bead racks was a brilliant idea
and now you've got your bead
    stash nicely displayed and
    organized. I love it!! Nice
    stash Cathey!!

    It's raining here too. The
temperature got up to 20 Celsius
today but will plunge back down
to 10 by Friday and pretty much
    stay down there for awhile.
    So frustrating!

    Cheers!

  9. I have a tall, floor stand mill hill rack that has been sitting in my garage for almost 5 years. Have never figured out a good place to put it. I got it thinking I would hang threads on it.

Man, could I use one of those. I hit a 90% Ben Franklin Crafts going-out-of-business sale once and bought them out of Mill Hill beads. Needless to say, I have a lot. lol
