I'm done, I'm done, I'm done! I LOVED stitching this piece :o) Here is Season Of Love by CCN -
Aren't they such a cute couple?
After much debate, I have decided against making this one into an ornament. As I was finishing this piece, it was shouting cube to me and I think it's right :o) I'm on the lookout for some gingerbread fabric and then some perfect ribbon to top it off. I love making cubes! I have to go to the Big City on Wednesday and will hit a few places to see what I can find.
Now it's on to Gingerbread Tree by LHN...

They're really cute! I'll admit that at first glance I didn't see her ribbon, and I was "Wow, that's unexpected!", and then I saw the pink! LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt turned out lovely Cathey and will look great as a cube finish.
ReplyDeleteI love it, Cathey! I'm planning on stitching this one, too. I think your idea of a cube finish is perfect. Just saw some cute gingerbread fabric at Joann Fabrics last week--do you have them in Canada? Good luck finding it--sometimes, I think finding the perfect accessories is as much fun as the actual stitching :)
ReplyDeleteThey are cute! I can't wait to stitch mine. I think a cube sounds perfect. I have some fabric on a cream background with gingerbread and candy; do you think that would work for you?
